Frequently asked questions

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

Most kitchen remodels run three to five weeks from demo to final walkthrough, depending on cabinetry lead times and whether you're changing the layout or plumbing locations. We give you a specific schedule before work starts, not a rough guess.

Do I need to move out of my house during the remodel?

No. Almost everyone stays in the house during a kitchen remodel. You'll lose full use of the kitchen for most of the project, so we help you set up a temporary space, usually a folding table, microwave, and mini-fridge in a nearby room, until the kitchen's back online.

Should I get custom or semi-custom cabinets?

Semi-custom covers most kitchens well and costs less with a shorter lead time. Custom makes sense for an unusual layout, a specific finish, or cabinetry built to non-standard dimensions. We'll tell you honestly which one your kitchen actually needs.

Do you handle the design, or do I need to hire a kitchen designer?

We handle layout and design as part of the process, so you won't need to hire a separate designer. We walk the space with you, talk through how you actually use it, then bring in cabinetry, countertop, and lighting options for you to choose from.

What materials do you work with?

Sourced from trusted suppliers including Style Line Cabinets, Granite Corp, 84 Lumber, and Home Depot.
